About the Artist

I approach painting as a space where memory, history, and the present intersect. My practice unfolds through series that function as living processes of visual research, where each work forms part of a larger, constantly evolving whole.

My work engages with contemporary issues and the history of Mexico, drawing on both pre-Hispanic art and contemporary territorial and social experiences. Through form, color, texture, and geometry, I seek to activate interpretations that connect the ancestral with the digital world and the tensions of the present.

Throughout my career, I have developed solo exhibitions, urban interventions, and publishing projects that complement my painting. I conceive of art as a space for circulation and encounter, and therefore maintain an open practice that fosters access to art and direct engagement with those who approach the work.
